Privacy policy
Inflator.org is a static website. We collect as little as a website can collect while still functioning, and this page describes all of it.
What we collect directly
The site has no accounts, no comment system, and no forms. If you email us via the address on the contact page, we receive what you send and use it only to reply; we don't add you to any list.
Server logs
Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider records standard access logs — IP address, requested page, browser user-agent, and timestamp. These are used for security and aggregate traffic statistics, retained for a limited period by the host, and never sold.
Analytics
If analytics are enabled on the site, we use a privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics service that reports aggregate statistics (page views, referrers, countries) without tracking individuals across sites. We do not run advertising trackers.
Affiliate links and Amazon
Product links on this site point to Amazon.com and include our Amazon Associates tag, which tells Amazon the visit came from us (see the affiliate disclosure). Once you're on Amazon, Amazon's own privacy notice governs, including any cookies Amazon sets to attribute purchases. We receive aggregate reports of items purchased through our links; we never receive your name, address, or payment details.
Cookies
Inflator.org itself sets no cookies. Third-party sites you click through to (such as Amazon) set their own according to their policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Given how little we hold, most requests reduce to email correspondence — write to us via the contact page and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
