Cordless tire inflators

Cordless inflators split into two very different camps. Tool-platform models (Milwaukee M12/M18, DeWalt 20V, Ryobi 18V, Makita LXT, Craftsman V20) share batteries with drills and saws you may already own — they're the fastest and most durable, but bare tools assume you have the battery. Built-in battery pocket units (Fanttik, Airmoto, Cycplus) charge over USB-C, fit in a glovebox or jersey pocket, and cost less up front, at the price of slower fills and finite cell life.

In our bench test, the quickest cordless unit took a 205/55R16 tire from 28 to 36 PSI in 49 seconds; the slowest pocket pump needed the better part of seven minutes. Battery counts ranged from three tire top-ups to nine per charge. Full numbers are in each review below.

Volume, not just pressure. Every pocket pump claims 120–150 PSI, but pressure ratings say nothing about speed on a high-volume tire. Check the timed test in each review, and read PSI, CFM & duty cycle explained if the spec sheet looks like alphabet soup.
